LumberjAxes is Phoenix / Tempe’s first competitive axe-throwing facility. Competitive axe-
throwing is the latest and greatest new thing! It’s a national sport in Canada. At our cavernous warehouse in Tempe, adults with axe throwing abilities ranging from novice to “axe-pert” can try their hand at it. You and your family, friends, colleagues, wedding party, or scrap-booking club get a lane and take your best shot at hitting the dart board like target. It’s a lot like bowling, but without the clown shoes. And with way more sharp objects.

Our axe-pert coaches provide the premiere axe-throwing experience for walk-ins, private events, corporate team-building, and 8 week leagues. We’ll focus on great customer service, so you can focus on having great fun. Get a squad, take aim, and fire — ummm, throw.

$35/2.5hrsYou must be at least 18 years of age.We encourage you to bring your friends, family, or co-workers.The minimum group size is six players on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday. On Friday and Saturday, the minimum group size is eight players.

You’ll need a credit card. We require a non-refundable deposit at the time of your booking. The remaining balance is paid at the time of the event via credit card.

For obvious reasons, we can’t let you throw axes in open-toed shoes or sandals. Aside from that, just wear something that’s comfortable and gives you a good range of motion. Lumberjack attire is not required but will impress and amuse the staff.

Before all events and sessions, our axe throwing experts will teach you some basic technique, as well as some important safety rules.

If you cancel your event at least two weeks beforehand, we will refund your deposit. Within two weeks of the event, we will not refund you, but we will reschedule you at our discretion.

We have a BYOB policy. Each participant may bring in up to 40 ounces of beer any day after 4:00 pm. Hard liquor is NOT permitted.
