Axe throwing in Mississauga is growing in popularity among the Peel Region, serving local residents as well as those in Brampton. We’re the popular choice for team building events, birthday parties and other special occasions. We’re ranked as the top fun & games destination on TripAdvisor for Mississauga and the recipient of their Certificate of Excellence.

Bad Axe Throwing is a great place to let out stress and have lots of fun. It’s a great workout while hanging out with friends, family and co-workers.

We host parties from birthdays to bachelorettes—as well as competitive leagues, like the World Axe Throwing League, which provides rules and regulations for the sport.

During your visit, we will provide a safety orientation, axe throwing lessons, practice time, then a mini-tournament and games featuring with all your participants hurling axes like a lumberjack.

After learning how to throw an axe, which doesn’t take very long, our instructors Alex, Patrick, Erica and other incredible coaches will teach you more “advanced” techniques, such as throwing underhanded, throwing two axes at the same time, throwing the big axes, and other cool trick shots.

Visit us at our Mississauga location to experience the thrill of axe throwing. We’re located on Tomken Road, just south of Eglinton Avenue East – we’ve got a big bright sign out in front so you can’t miss us!

Experience an unforgettable time. Book your event today.

Axe Throwing League Information

We're a part of The World Axe Throwing League (WATL). Check out the Axe Throwing League. section of our website to sign up. It's only $15/week and you get to compete against local axe throwers and people all over the world. NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!

Our axe throwing league will run for 8 weeks. You will be allowed to have practice throws and warm up (be there on time or early). For the first 7 weeks everyone will get at least 40 competitive throws per night.

Your score for each throw will be tallied and recorded. This will ensure that we're not ranking you based on who you go up against, rather, your skills at hitting the bullseye to get top scores. They will then make it to the Championship Tournament in week 8 to determine the Axe Throwing League Champion!

Spectator Information

People are more than welcome to come and cheer on their friends and family at no additional cost to them.

Other Information

If you'd like to make a booking, group events are by appointment only. But we also offer occasional walk-in sessions.

We're a cashless business - not in the sense that we're completely broke, but we only accept credit cards on-site. This means no dinero por favor. AMEX, Visa, Mastercard are gladly accepted. Diner's Cards are too, if anyone still uses them.

We can host groups as small as 8, and if you're really popular, we can accommodate up to 70 of your family and friends!

If you are looking to book on a weekend, then you should book at least 4 weeks in advance. If you are looking to book on a weekday, then you should book at least 1-2 weeks in advance. It all depends: summer time has a bit more flexibility, any other time is pretty busy.

We suggest you wear something comfortable, as in, NO HIGH HEELS. Wear something you'd wear if you wanted to ruin someone's wedding - close-toed sneakers, a comfortable shirt you can throw stuff in, and comfy pants. Heck, wear plaid! Yes, make everyone wear plaid!

You don't need to worry about bringing any equipment or anything else in - just your party and whatever snacks you want to bring along with you.

We have a lot of axe throwers and lovers that have some sweet axes - as much as we'd love to have you bring them, the only axes that can be used are the ones that we provide during the event.

We require a 2 week cancellation notice in order to receive a refund on your deposit.

You can cater in, order or have your mother drop off some cookies and milk. It's all included in your entry fee - feel free to bring your own food and drinks.

We have mini-fridges that you're more than welcome to use to store drinks and food during your event. But if you leave them behind, they're all mine! Muhahaha.

We have bluetooth speakers we use and can hook up your phone to it or we can hook up ours to get the tunes going. If you have some jams you want to listen to, we can play any specific kind of music you like. Just ask your awesome axe throwing coach!

Our talented and amazing axe throwing coaches will be there to help teach you and hone in on making tweaks to your technique so you can properly throw an axe. There will be a brief orientation at the beginning of your event where you'll be shown how to throw an axe.
