$40/hr plus HSTFriendly City Axe Throwing is 18+. Please leave the children at home.Spectators are welcome and do not have to pay, but your total group size cannot exceed 16 people.We require a minimum of 4 people to book a private event. The maximum we can accommodate is 16 people.

We will spend a couple minutes talking safety and provide some tips on how to throw an axe. You’ll have lots of time to practice throwing, and then we’ll organize a friendly tournament for your group!

A 50% deposit (by credit card) is required to reserve your event, with the remainder of your payment due when you come in. A cash deposit will be accepted..but keep in mind.. reservation is only secured once a deposit is paid.

We require a minimum of 2 week’s notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment. If you cancel within 2 weeks of your appointment, the credit card on file will be charged a $100 late cancellation fee.

We accept cash, credit card or debit. We can split up the payment between your group however you wish.

Closed toed shoes (these are mandatory). Open toed footwear is not allowed. Dress comfortably. Wear loose or nonrestrictive clothing on your upper body. High heels are also not recommended. The space is kept fairly cool throughout winter – don’t worry, you’ll warm up – but you may wish to bring a sweater. Plaid always welcome!

If you would like to have alcohol at your event, you’ll need to obtain a Special Occasion Permit (SOP) from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario. A “no sale” permit for a private event costs $25 and requires a minimum of 10 days notice. Click here to download the SOP application or visit your nearest LCBO SOP Service Store. You will be required to show proof of your SOP when you arrive at Friendly City Axe Throwing. Sorry, no glass and no hard liquor allowed at Friendly City Axe Throwing. We will make an exception for wine bottles, but you will need to bring plastic cups to drink from. Intoxication will NOT be tolerated.
